Abstract:
A root box experiment was carried out in order to examine the relationship between Cadmium accumulation and rhizospheric microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, actinomyces) of two genotypes
Ipomoea aquatica Forssk. It showed that Cadmium accumulations have some genetic variation. The microorganisms' number was dramatically higher in rhizosphere than in non-rhizosphere(
p<0.01)and was highly different in two Genotypes(
p<0.01).A significantly negative correlation was found between Cadmium accumulation and rhizospheric microorganisms, with the order:fungi> bacteria> actinomyces.
