Abstract: Soil aggregate structure exerts important influences on the contents of the soil nutrients,soil moisture,and the condition of crop growth.It is expressed as a significant index of soil fertility.Recently,the processes of formation,stabilization and destruction of soil aggregate structure have become the research focus.This paper summarizes the research progresses in the relationships among soil organic matter,microbe organisms and soil aggregate structure,the abiotic factors that influencing the soil aggregate structure,and the prediction model for variation of soil aggregate structure.Finally,we give an outlook for the future research.
