Abstract: After the study of the influence of different leaf-umbrella on the rubber sapling growth,we got some conclusions as follows.1.Cutting some leaf-umbrellas make the bud growth of the top of rubber sapling is brought earlier or postponed,leading to some changes of leaf phenology of top leaf-umbrella leaves.These changes are different,for the cutting leaf-umbrella position and the area of leaves are different.2.Cutting the leaves will limit the rubber sapling growth obviously.The more leaves you cut,the more limitation for the growth of stem diameter and sapling height.3.However,we haven't found any compensatory growth from cutting few leaves.It seems that the growth limitation from cutting leaves is related to the nutrition loss and decrease of photosynthetic area because of the volume of leave cutting.4.Leaf-umbrella have an influence for the position of the growth of the sapling.The growth limitation for rubber sapling's stem diameter and sapling height is depend on the different cutting position,including many groups with different leaf-umbrella.The exact reason for the degree of the growth limitation on the stem diameter and sapling height from the different cutting leaf-umbrella leaves position is still subject to further study.5.Above all,these conclusions has some significant instructions on the growth control of the plants,the leaves protection and leaves shaving.
