Amino sugars in Mollisols of Northeastern China: Progress and prospect

摘要: 氨基糖作为土壤微生物来源物质的定量指标和重要标识物,经过微生物周而复始的生长-代谢-死亡的循环过程,不断地在土壤中积累,对评价土壤有机质转化和积累的微生物作用过程具有独特的意义和价值。本文重点阐述了氨基糖在我国东北黑土中的稳定机制、对养分管理措施和土地利用方式的响应,分析了土壤氨基糖研究技术的优缺点,建议未来应侧重结合稳定同位素示踪技术,以期为指导黑土农田质量恢复,深入认识农田黑土碳氮转化过程和调控机理提供参考。Abstract: Amino sugars have been used as the most important indicators for the presence of microbial residues in soil, and they are significant in turnover of microbial-derived soil organic matter and nutrient cycling as indicated by accumulation of microorganisms.This paper specified the practical applications of amino sugars to soil organic matter turnover and microbial communities in Mollisols, analyzed their stability mechanism and the response to agricultural management in Northeastern China.We also figured out some limitations by using amino sugars as an indicator as well.Finally, this paper suggested that in order to elucidate clearly the SOM turnover and restoration of Mollisols in Northeastern China, amino sugars should be investigated together with isotope tracer technique when necessary in the future.This review would benefit to the restoration of farmland productivity, and provide useful information for further understanding soil nutrient cycling and regulation mechanism.
