Abstract:
Mineral elements such as phosphorus (P),potassium (K),sodium (Na),calcium (Ca),magnesium (Mg),iron (Fe),manganese (Mn) and zinc (Zn) are necessary for the growth and development of crops, and P is one of the three major nutrient elements essential to crops. There exists a certain correlation and dependence among the mineral elements absorbed by crops.Under field conditions,we planted four rice varieties, including JiNongDa 511,SongJing 14,LongDao 11,and SongJing 12 in saline-alkaline and non-saline-alkaline soils, and investigated the effects of saline-alkaline stress on total P (TP) content in rice grains and the correlation between TP and other mineral elements. The results showed that saline-alkaline stress significantly reduced the content of TP in brown rice (
P<0.05),with significant differences among varieties. The relationship between TP and other mineral elements were significantly influenced in rice husk and brown rice under salt and alkali stress. The Mg element contributed the most to the TP content in brown rice under saline-alkaline and non-saline-alkaline stresses.
